Our DLC (Diamond-like carbon)-coating is a metastable type of the diamond-like amorphous carbon with a significant proportion of sp3-bonds.
This sp3-bond leads to a higher density, hardness (at room temperature and elevated temperature), thermal stability, oxidation resistence, increased inherent tension and a reduced thermal conductivity of our tools. This diamond-like coating shows a huge potential in relation to applications with non-ferrous metals, plastics, as well as organic material. Please find below our related data sheet as PDF download.
